1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the website at kingpoleapps.com (the "site"). The site is run by Joel Bondoux (JoelBondoux.net), referred to as "we", "us" or "our". By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Our apps have separate terms
The site describes our Shopify apps, LookDesigner Pro and HireLine. Installing, using or paying for an app is governed by that app's own terms of service and privacy policy, together with Shopify's terms. Charges for our apps are billed through Shopify. These terms do not create any contract to supply an app.
3. Information on the site
We provide the content on the site for general information. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but features, plans and prices may change, and the site may not always reflect the latest version of an app. Nothing on the site is an offer capable of acceptance. Before you rely on a particular feature or price, check the app's listing or contact us.
4. Using the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
- attack the site, including through denial-of-service attacks or by introducing malicious code;
- use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the site;
- copy, adapt or use our content, name or logos to imply that you are us, or that we endorse you.
5. Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own the intellectual property in the site and its content, including the KingPoleApps name, logos, artwork, text and design. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Any other use needs our written permission. The fonts used on the site are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Other names may be trademarks of their respective owners.
6. Links to other websites
The site links to other websites, including our apps' own sites, Shopify and JoelBondoux.net. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not control.
7. Availability
We provide the site free of charge and on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from your reliance on its content. In particular, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
